Back from the Brink

from $70.00

In 1981, the global population of Kakī (Black Stilt) plummeted to its all-time lowest point of 23 birds. Since then, DOC and The Isaac Wildlife and Conservation Trust along with other organisations and passionate individuals have brought this species back from the brink of extinction. While their numbers are still low, there is an estimated 143 adults left in the wild, with an additional 65 juveniles released this year.

Purchase this print to have in your own home. Printed on matte paper for an authentic photographic finish, reducing reflection and the frame sticking to the glass. My prints are sourced from a local Christchurch print store.

Available in A1, A2, A3 and A4 sizes and other custom dimensions and material finishes upon request.

All images are printed with my watermark.
